Who even am I?

Hi! I’m Corey.

Friends call me Corey, which makes sense. I'm the one behind Left of Kinneret.

Some other quick facts: my wife said no to dating me three times over three years. Favorite color: black and white. I’ve been trying to pick up my phone less and my kids more. Call me maybe.

My favorite apps are the ones you eat (Penthouse 808, Balsamic vinaigrette burrata, NYC 2015). Costa Rica, Lake Powell, and Yosemite are my favorite places on the planet. I'm just trying to love people and live like Jesus.

Some other quick facts: Woo is my StrengthsQuest™ #1. My wife said no to dating me three times over three years. Favorite color: black and white. I’ve been trying to pick up my phone less and my kids more. The better I get the worse I am at communication so also been trying to be a better texter, call me maybe.

Left of Kinneret is a map. The destination, a wedding reception. In full swing. But, there’s a problem. The wine has run out. As the story goes, stone jars (typically used for ceremonial washing) are filled with water. The result is the finest wine of the celebration.

The first public miracle Jesus performs isn’t in a temple or wowing crowds on a mountaintop. It’s here. At a wedding. With tables, chairs, family, friends, food, and dancing. God ordains the party, then sustains it. Something simple becomes sacred. Something fleeting becomes remembered.

Left of Kinneret draws on this story. A reminder that there are miracles in the small, intimate moments, and in the big, wild and beautiful ones you want to live in forever.

Your story: honest, real, and raw—is worth telling.

Your love is a miracle.

let's connect.

I have always been drawn to creative work, the kind that feels honest and personal. After graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University, I discovered filmmaking brought together all the creative arts I loved: photography, music, people, and the power of a good story told well. Now, that story is yours.

Everything is captured and created with you in mind.

From the first frame to the final export, every choice is intentional. The visuals, the angles, the pacing, the music, the audio, and the feeling they collectively carry.

The hope is simple, that you don’t feel like you’re watching your film, but that you’re right back in it.
